The Galaxy S10 comes with a gorgeous 6.1in Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display, while the S10 Plus follows with a larger 6.3in display. Both feature a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio which means it's a lot of glass to protect.
What's different about the S10 and S10 Plus is the in-screen fingerprint sensor which uses ultrasonic waves to scan your finger. This sets the S10 apart from other phones that use optical scanners – but it does complicate options when it comes to screen protectors.
Most third-party protectors for the S10 and S10 Plus come with a cutout at the bottom to accommodate the scanner's sensitivity, but not everyone may like this look. (The S10e screens remain unaffected however, as the fingerprint scanner is on the side of the phone).
Though choices are limited at the time for S10 and S10 Plus protectors, as the phones have only just launched, there are alternatives out there without the cutout. We've rounded up the best Galaxy S10 screen protectors around so far.
We'll be adding to this list as more screen protectors become available, so watch this space. For even more protection, see our roundup of the best Galaxy S10 cases.
Samsung Official Galaxy S10 Screen Protector
To kick things off, the most reliable screen protector you can find for your S10 or S10 Plus (£14.99/US$16.49) is the official protector from Samsung. It's less than £20/US$20 and doesn't have a cutout, which makes it an ideal option for anyone who prefers completely non-intrusive protection.
As an official accessory, Samsung promises bubble-free installation and complete screen clarity and sensitivity.
Whitestone Dome Glass Galaxy S10 Screen Protector
The Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector provides 9H tempered glass protection. though at a hefty price – that said it's perhaps the only other third-party screen protector without a cutout which maintains the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner's sensitivity.
Whitestone's achieves this with its Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive which does not produce the air gaps that typically form between the screen and protector. This gap would otherwise interfere with the ultrasonic waves.
The application system is the most advanced of all the screen protector on this list; you will have to cure the protector onto your S10 using a UV light lamp, so instructions should be followed carefully. It can even be applied to screens that are already broken.
Olixar Screen Protector for Galaxy S10
Olixar's screen protector offers a 6H hardness rating which should keep your S10 screen safe from day-to-day scratches and scuffs.
It's also curved to fit the contours of the phone screen. It is a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) protector, which means it's a flexible film that mainly offers scratch resistance while maintaining clarity.
Zagg Ultra Clear Samsung Galaxy S10 Screen Protector
We've recommended Zagg before for other phones, such as the Galaxy S9. This is a clear film protector that goes directly onto the screen like Olixar's.
It offers protection from scratches and smudges and preserves clarity by 96%. Of course, you won't get the same glass feel with a film protector as you would with a tempered glass option, but you do get decent protection backed by a lifetime warranty.
