Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini full review
The Maxtor line of OneTouch 4 hard drives now includes a portable version. The Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini is small enough to fit into your hand but large enough to store a lot of data.
With capacities ranging from 80GB up to 160GB (the version we tested), the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini drives are PC and Macintosh compatible, and come with backup, synchronisation and security software.

The Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini is a great way to keep lots of data with you in a small and portable package.
The device doesn't include a power adaptor - instead it comes with a USB cable that connects to two ports (one for data, one for power). This means having a notebook with sufficient USB ports.
The bundled Maxtor Manager software provides for simple and customised backup options, and a synchronisation feature that lets you synchronise folders to the drive, then when you connect to a second computer, will synchronise the files with that one.
Security features include password protection, and automatic encryption features for files and folders. There also is the SafetyDrill option, which can save a copy of your entire hard drive to the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini, which then can be used to restore a PC in the event of a system failure.
