Last month, Amazon bundled the 128GB Surface Pro 6 with the Type Cover in a deal that outdid Microsoft's January Sale discount on the same bundle. Amazon offered the bundle for £878, saving buyers roughly £125 from buying the Type Cover separately.

A similar deal returns on a model with higher specs. Amazon is now offering the 256GB Surface Pro 6 with Type Cover for £1,153.05. The same bundle costs £1,298.99 from Microsoft – which actually isn't a deal at all.

The 256GB Surface Pro 6 has an RRP of £1,149 while the Type Cover retails at £124.99. Buying these separately from Microsoft should really cost a total of £1273.99 – £25 less than Microsoft's current inflated bundle price.

In comparison, Amazon's deal really saves you roughly £121 from the true cost of the bundle, and £145.94, if you compare each bundle price at face value.

If you prefer the 256GB Surface Pro 6 tablet on it's own, Amazon's price saves you £90 too. Microsoft isn't currently offering a deal on this model at the moment.
