As shared by the_tech_guy on Twitter, the first sign of the Mi 10T line that caught the internet's attention appeared at the start of August, as part of a configuration file from Xiaomi's camera app that named two devices; the 'Apollo' and 'Apollo Pro', linked to the Mi 10T and 10T Pro, respectively.

The file also revealed that the Pro model will sport a 108Mp camera sensor - a highlight of the top existing Mi 10 devices, while the more modest 10T opts for a still-impressive-sounding 64Mp sensor; each as part of a triple camera arrangement.

Also from Twitter, established leaker Abhishek Yadav posted what appeared to be a near-complete render of the Mi 10T Pro's back, which focused on that big 108Mp camera sensor, bearing a clear resemblance to the camera setup found on the Vivo X50 Pro. Further down the phone's silver back, text highlighting its 5G capabilities can also be seen.

Abhishek also stated that the Mi 10T Pro will boast a large 5000mAh battery, an impressively-smooth 144Hz high refresh rate display and (potentially) a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

If that wasn't enough, the above-leaked render was promptly followed up by actual hands-on photos pulled from a listing on online marketplace, OfferUp. The shots show the back of the Mi 10T Pro in more detail, including the model number (M2007J3SG), as well as proof of a hole-punch front-facing camera and dual-SIM support.

XDA Developers, who shared the photos, also unearthed in kernel sources that the Mi 10T will use a flagship-class Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, while the 10T Pro will leverage the tuned Snapdragon 865+.

As if this wasn't enough, come September, a listing for the Mi 10T Pro briefly appeared on Amazon Spain, before quickly being removed again. German tech site Giga was able to pull all the pertinent information from the listing before it disappeared, including product images (below) and pricing.

While the listing was incomplete, it confirmed the presence of a Snapdragon 865 chip, along with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and priced the phone at €666.25 (equivalent to approximately £615).

While there's no knowing if this price is simply a placeholder figure while the listing is completed once we know more we'll update this piece accordingly.
