Did you know that up to 12.7 million tonnes of plastic is dumped in the ocean every year? It is a colossal problem, threatening all marine life, and something many of us are keen to see reduced.

Carphone Warehouse is doing its bit, and if you're the owner of a shiny new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro or iPhone 11 Pro Max (which went on sale this morning), you can help.

Ocean75 is behind its new line of Ocean Wave iPhone 11 cases that are made from 90% recycled ocean plastic waste - specifically old fishing nets.

For each case sold the company is also donating £1 to an ocean-conservation charity of your choice.

The packaging is also made from recycled plastic, and when you're eventually done with the case itself it will go in the normal household recycling or can be returned to Ocean75 for repurposing into a new case.

Priced at £24.99, there's a choice of Coral Pink, Dolphin Grey, Ocean Blue and Deep Black models, each with a cool ocean wave textured rippling effect.

Versions for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max are available online or in store at Carphone Warehouse.
