Moto E: specification

The Moto E sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 dual-core CPU running at 1.2GHz. This is paired with 1GB of RAM. The Moto E measures 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3mm and weighs in at 140g.Much of that space is dedicated to the screen: the Motorola Moto E has a 4.3-inch, 960x540 touchscreen display. That gives it a respectable if not outstanding 256ppi pixel density.

As with other budget phones storage isn't great. The Moto E comes with only 4GB of onboard storage internally, although there is a microSD card slot of expansion of up to 32GB.

The Moto E launches with Android 4.4 KitKat, and as with other Motorola phones this is largely vanilla in comparison to other Android manufacturers. It will be updated to the next-generation of Android, Motorola says.

You get a 1980mAh battery that combined with the relatively low-spec screen should allow for good battery life in excess of one day in use. In terms of connectivity the Moto E comes with 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with GLONASS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack.
