Nokia N1: Specs

The Nokia N1 is an Android Lollipop 5.0 tablet running Nokia Z Launcher. This is unlike other launchers in that it strips back Android to reveal only the basics, such as the time, date, an upcoming calendar event, a few apps, web pages and contacts - it will learn to display those you use most frequently. At the bottom are shortcuts to the dialler, Hangouts, Google Maps, Chrome and the apps menu.

Z Launcher also features Scribble, which lets you scribble letters on the launcher to quickly open an app - for example, T for Twitter.

Nokia Z Launcher isn't restricted to the Nokia N1 - you can get it now from

The N1 is fitted with a 7.9in (4:3, 2048x1536) IPS panel. It has a 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 64-bit processor, which it pairs with 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB of storage and 533MHz PowerVR G6430 graphics.

The Nokia N1 has a unibody aluminium design, measuring 138.6x6.9x200.7mm and weighing 318g. It's available in natural aluminium or lava grey.

There are front- and rear-facing cameras - 5Mp (fixed focus) and 8Mp (autofocus) - which support 1080p video recording. The Nokia N1 also has two 0.5W stereo speakers.

The Nokia N1 features dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi with MIMO and Bluetooth 4.0, and offers a 3.5mm audio jack and a reversible Micro-USB port.

A 5300mAh battery should offer 9 hours battery life.
