And we learnt this week that anyone who buys the game on Xbox One or PS4 will get a free upgrade to an Xbox Series X or PS5 copy in the future, giving you no good reason not to snap it up at launch.

When is the War Table stream?

The Avengers War Table stream takes place on Wednesday 24 June, and it will begin at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST.

It's worth noting that the official YouTube stream - embedded below - is set to start half an hour earlier, but we think this will just be preamble and intro. Still, it might be worth tuning in early if you want to make sure you don't miss a moment.

How to watch Avengers War Table

The stream will be hosted on the official Avengers YouTube channel, so that’s the best place to go if you want to watch it live. To make things easier, we've embedded the official video right here:

What to expect from the Avengers stream

Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics haven’t yet confirmed exactly what will be revealed during today's stream, though a teaser video promises new trailers, co-op gameplay, and story missions.

The same video emphasises that the game is still on track for its 4 September launch date, so don’t expect a delay to be announced.

We might get our first footage from the recently announced PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game too. So far we know that the next-gen versions will feature “extremely fast load times, boosted resolution and fidelity, improved texturing and armor destruction, ray tracing, and more.”

More specifically, the PS5 version will be “seamless and dynamic” thanks to the console’s SSD, and it will also boast support for the DualSense controller’s advanced haptics and the console’s spatial audio, together with a choice between Enhanced Graphics mode or High Framerate mode.

We’re still waiting for more info on how the Xbox Series X will enhance the game, along with details of the PC and Stadia versions, but it doesn’t sound like we’ll get those details during the War Table.
