Weighing 147g, the eXplorist 110 is light enough to hang round the user’s neck or can be attached to a rucksack. Distance covered, elevations, average speed and a daily summary can all be automatically recorded and reviewed. A 3.2Mp camera and voice recorder also feature.

With a choice of compass overlays for geocaching and general outdoor exploration, the device also shows tourist attractions, towns and parks and has customisable menus for latitude, longitude, bearing and distances between specific points. The eXplorist 110 runs off AA batteries that should last up to 18 hours before needing to be replenished.
