It would seem that both sets of earbuds have been discounted following the launch of the Galaxy Buds Live, Samsung's new bean-shaped buds. However, those earbuds have a very different design, so aren't necessarily a successor to the Buds Plus.

Aside from battery life, the main things you're sacrificing on the regular Galaxy Buds are less impressive mics and some subtle software differences. If you're content with these compromises, saving the extra £20 might be worth it.
The beauty of Samsung earbuds is that they work well on all Android devices, with the Galaxy Wearable app available on the Google Play Store.
So if you're in the market for true wireless earbuds, you won't be disappointed if you opt for either of Samsung's discounted offerings.
