Acer said: "If you are looking for a tablet that you can easily hold in one hand and still lets you enjoy web browsing, multimedia, or even work if you need to, you have found your dream tablet."
For your £179 you get a 390g tablet with an nVidia Tegra 3 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 2Mp front camera and the latest version of Android. Acer has only announced a Wi-Fi only 8GB model but expansion is possible via a microSD card slot.

The 7in screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600, lower than that of the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire HD. However, it does have an HDMI port for connecting to your TV or monitor – a not so common feature on tablets.
With the equivalent Nexus 7 selling for £20 less and more storage on offer from the Kindle Fire HD the Acer Iconia Tab A110 will have a job taking on the big boys.
