If you weren't paying attention, you would miss that Razer has quietly slashed £280 off its flagship gaming phone, the Razer Phone 2 (8GB RAM, 64GB storage, Snapdragon 845 processor). You can get this deal directly from Razer, or from Amazon, where the price is now just £499.99 – a hefty difference from the £779 RRP.
From Amazon you can potentially slash up to another £115 off the reduced price when you pick up a 12 month SIM from EE. The £115 voucher comes with a purchase of the 60GB data SIM, which has a £30 monthly charge.
There are other SIM options that get you Amazon phone vouchers too: get £50 off with a 40GB data SIM at £25 per month, or get a £30 voucher when you buy a 20GB data SIM at £21 monthly cost. See all EE SIM deal options here.
This promotion applies to both new and existing EE customers. To get the voucher, new customers will need to go here to buy the SIM of their choice. EE will then send the voucher code via text and email within 5 working days. The code can then be applied at purchase on Amazon.
Existing EE customers buying a new SIM will need to go to this EE upgrade link and use the code AMAZONSIMSAVE at checkout and then wait for the voucher code to be sent.
Of course, we don't know if the £280 discount on the Razer Phone 2 will still be around on Amazon in five days, so it may just be worth picking the phone up now. The EE voucher code should work on any of these phones on Amazon too.
The Razer Phone 2 released last October and is one of the best gaming phones on the market – in fact, it sits at number 2 in our round up of the best gaming phones, though we do feel it really shares the top spot with the Asus ROG phone. We loved the Razer Phone 2 in our review, where we gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 and a Tech Advisor Recommended badge, especially with its 120Hz display. Our only real annoyance was the price – but that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore, at least for now.
