MiTAC has unveiled its latest Getac rugged PDA - the Getac PS535F, which benefits from an auto-focus camera and an e-compass.

Measuring 144x82x29mm, the PDA runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a 3.5in touchscreen display that can be used with the bundled stylus or controlled by a fingertip.

The 3Mp camera features auto-focus, while the built-in GPS and an e-compass offer users the ability to pinpoint their exact location.

The PDA's casing is compliant with MIL-STD 810F and IP54 standards, ensuring it's resistant to frequent drops and exposure to water, dust and extreme temperatures. The Getac PS535F also offers an altimeter, which provides the correct altitude reading, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 2GB internal flash memory.

According to MiTAC, the battery offers eight hours of use when fully charged. Pricing and availability details have yet to be confirmed.
