On 11 October Samsung is live-streaming a special event for a new phone that it says offers 4x fun, and we think this could be either the Galaxy X or Galaxy A9. We'll be embedding the stream at the top of this page, or you can watch live via Samsung's site.

Though Samsung has not officially confirmed which phone it will announce, it could be the Samsung Galaxy X. This is the highly anticipated foldable-screen phone, which has been recently tipped to arrive before the end of 2018. It has also been tipped to feature four cameras, which may be what's behind the 4x fun tagline.

However, the Galaxy A9 is also due, and that phone has also been tipped to feature four rear cameras. Given that it's 'A Galaxy Event', the A series is probably more likely. Especially given that it has already confirmed the Galaxy A7, which it says will feature on the day. Here's more about the Galaxy A-series launches.

When is the Samsung Galaxy live stream?

Samsung's special event will be held on 11 October. It has not yet confirmed the time, just that there will be a live stream. We'll bring you more news when we have it.

Where can I watch the Galaxy live stream?

On this very page (it will be available nearer the time), or via Samsung's own site.
