LinkedIn has become much more like Facebook and other social networks and is now sending loads of notification emails without asking if you wanted any. If you're fed up with all the emails about work anniversaries, job listings and endorsements, here's how to unsubscribe from LinkedIn notifications. There's no need to close your account - although we'll also show you how to do that as well.
1. Log into your LinkedIn account and hover over your photo - or the head icon if you never uploaded a photo of yourself. You'll see a menu appear: click on Privacy & settings.
2. Now, towards the bottom of the page on the left, click on Communications, and then Set the frequency of emails
3. There are a lot of emails, an no one-click option to turn off all email notifications. So, taking each section in turn, use the drop-down menus to select No Email for each type. Be sure to click the Save changes button before moving to another section.
4. Here are all the emails you need to select:
Updates and news
Group digests
Notifications
Messages from LinkedIn
