Wimbledon might feel like a long time ago but there's still some Grand Slam tennis to be enjoyed before the summer is over. Here's everything you need to know about watching the US Open 2019 online.
As usual, the US Open will take place at Flushing Meadows in New York. The bad news for British fans is that Andy Murray isn't set to play at all this year - not even in the doubles. Instead he's taking some time to recover and compete in smaller tournaments as he tries to return to form. At least Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic will all be in the running for the big prize, as will Serena Williams over on the women's side.
When is the US Open 2019?
From Monday 26 August to Sunday 8 September.
US Open tennis schedule
The easiest way to keep on top of the full schedule is to look at it on the official site, which will update every day with the latest lineups.
How to watch the US Open on TV
This year watching the US Open will be the same as last year, as Amazon has full rights to show coverage of the US Open tennis. The tournament will be exclusively shown on Prime Video. That means you can watch it from your PC, phone, TV, games console, or more, but you will need a Prime subscription to do so.
How much does Amazon Prime Video cost?
If you're already an Amazon Prime member, then the video service is included for free. So you just need to log in and enjoy the action.
Otherwise, you have a few different options. You can get Amazon Prime for £79 per year or select just Prime Video for £5.99 per month. Getting the full year includes various benefits likes free delivery, deals and more.
If you like you can do a 30-day free trial, giving you more than enough time to watch the whole US Open. Since Amazon also has the rights to the full men's ATP tour though, you might consider the annual membership, which will give you 12 whole months of tennis.
