What better way to celebrate our love of Christmas with a green and hairy bad guy who hates it? Based in Whoville, the Grinch plans to ruin Christmas by stealing all the presents and decorations - but watching Jim Carrey's hilarious representation of him certainly won't ruin ours. Here's how to watch How The Grinch Stole Christmas online or on any device.

Stream The Grinch

The Grinch is available to stream as part of a NowTV Cinema subscription, for which a free trial is available.

At the time of writing, The Grinch (2018 version - not the 2000 version we're focusing on here) was also available on Netflix - in the UK at least.

You can also stream The Grinch via Amazon Prime, but at additional cost: it isn't included with your Prime subscription.

Buy a digital copy of The Grinch

If you can't stream it and want to watch The Grinch now rather than wait for a DVD to arrive in the post, you can also purchase it in digital form for playback on any of your mobile devices or a PC or smart TV.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas can be bought from YouTube £7.99. The best price, though, is from iTunes and Amazon, at just £3.99 in HD.

Rent a digital copy of The Grinch

Renting the Grinch is also possible, but the saving is minimal compared to buying it from iTunes and Amazon.

It used to be possible to rent in standard definition, which was £1 cheaper, but when we checked Amazon, the only option was HD. The same goes for iTunes: you may as well buy it.

Buy The Grinch on DVD

You'd never believe The Grinch was 19, first released back in 2000, but fortunately you can still find it on DVD. We found The Grinch at Amazon for £5 on DVD and £18.99 on Blu-ray.

Rent The Grinch on DVD/Blu-ray

The Grinch is also available from DVD rental subscription service Cinema Paradiso - sign up here for a free trial.
