It’s fairly easy to watch American sports like NFL and NBA in the UK, but ice hockey is normally a different story. Luckily, you can now live stream games on BT Sport or other methods and we’ve got all the details.

NHL on BT Sport

As of 2020, BT Sport is showing two NHL games a week, which is great news in terms of getting easy access to ice hockey in the UK. There are various ways to get BT Sports including on Sky, with BT Broadband and the new Monthly Pass.

Here are the NHL games being shown live on BT Sport channels in February. All times are GMT and the latter team is the one playing at home.

NHL on Premier Sport

As well as BT Sport, you can watch some games on Premier Sports. The channel and its sister channel, FreeSports, will show up to 15 games per week.

The NHL has an official streaming service called, but unlike the NFL Game Pass, it’s not available in the UK.

The app is available on Apple, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Roku and more. normally costs $115.99 for a Single Team Pass or $144.99 if you want the All Access Pass. However, now the season is well underway, you can get it for $69.99 following a free trial.
