XP Mode - Larger screen output

  mb666 13:30 05 Nov 2013

Hi and good afternoon.

Hopefully someone will be able to help, and I am not asking a really stupid question.

I have installed the Virtual PC and the XP mode and everything works ok.

However, when I install software (games etc) and try and run it, the window that opens to view the software is only about a quarter of the desktop screen.

Is it possible to make this larger for easier viewing? It is not as simple as dragging the window to make it bigger or clicking 'full-screen' (when full-screen is applied the XP mode goes full screen, but the application window remains at quarter of desktop).

Any thoughts or assistance please?

If your software program appears in a small window in the center of your screen, you can increase its size by changing your screen resolution temporarily, more info: microsoft.com

Thank you Lotvic.

I'll give that a try.

But, from memory, the small window appears in the top left of the screen.

It may be due to the Program Resolution that it was made to run at, have you tried connecting to TV
