Windows cannot be installed to the disk.

Im in the middle of installing windows 10 onto my PC. In the tab upon selecting my disk i get this error message. Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu.

Context: My PC contains 2 HDDs. Recently one of them (containing system) broke. I just uplugged the broken one and im now trying to install the system to the other one. I tryed both letting the installation create partition and creating them myslef. None worked tho.

Anyone has any ideas how to solve this? I will be here to probide any additional info.

Connect the drive's sata cable to the lowest number port on the motherboard.

Disable and Raid settings in BIOS and retry.

You may also need to make sure the BIOS will boot to that disk.
