Windows 8 Missing "Connect to WiFi" Option

I am not able to select or find the option of connecting to WiFi, instead of Ethernet cable The Network Adapters. The Network Adapter in the Device manager shows only one device which is i think for Ethernet only. Is there some driver or device missing? Please help.

By the way, I just got my PC restored to factory settings. After all the setup, it went well because it didn't have a problem about the system except the WiFi connectivity option is missing.

ensure wireless is switched on can be a switch (especially on laptops) or a key combination

in device manager try

action scan for new ardware to see if it can find the wireless card
