HTC U12 Plus review: Hands-on
Hi All, I have been having a problem with my Windows 7 PC for a while now and it is really getting annoying. I’m really hoping someone on here can help me out. Basically what’s happening is my PC is having random lag spikes. They occur completely randomly whether I’m watching YouTube, listening to music or playing games. When the lag happens it only lasts for a few seconds each time. The sound stutters and the mouse won't move or it will move very slowly. It gets really frustrating,
I have tried numerous fresh installs and the problem disappears for a while but then returns. If I restart the computer the lag won’t occur for a while but it does always come back. I have also replaced the ram which didn’t make a difference.
Is it possible the hard drive is dying? It is a Hitachi 1TB drive and is probably 3 years old. All my drivers are up to date.
These are my PC specs:
