My taskbar has suddenly lost all the hard drive icons that normally appear n the "My PC" section.
I have the Start icon on the left, my application icons and the clock.
Missing are "My PC" and the Notification tray.
How do I get my taskbar back to normal? No amount of fiddling with the "Settings" options make a scrap of difference. Neither does restarting.
Thanks for reading.
If you Right-click the Windows Start button and open Disk Management.
It might point you to a solution.
Good luck,
s.
Type Taskbar into the start button. Click on Task manager settings.then click on Turn system icons on or off.
Or select which icons appear on taskbar.
If that does not help run cmd as administrator and type in sfc /scannow and see if it finds any problems and fixes them.
Hi,
If you have tried the above-mentioned methods and still didn’t find the solution, then your device might be in “Tablet mode”. Just go to “Action Center” and disabled Tablet mode, it may bring your taskbar item to its original state.
Hope it works for you!
I have tried all your suggestions but none have worked.
Any further ideas?
