Just read that this is available from today and will slowly be rolled out but it can be downloaded now. Has anyone tried it yet?

Yes. A manual check started the installation and it is proceeding well so far on my laptop. Version 1709.

Can confirm it is being downloaded using windows update.

Took around 90 mins to install completely to Version 1709 (16299.15).

I'll definitely be using the 'burning-ISO-to-disc' method. No problems encountered on last 2 big updates using this method of updating on 2 identical notebooks [Wi-Fi connections only] with limited hard disk capacities [32gb]. Downloading ISO's using another computer with a 'stable' wired connection.

Got to 98% and would go no further. It came up with Windows 10, version 1709 - Error 0x80d02002

So maybe best waiting a few days to see how others get on.

I have experienced no problems with this update. I particularly like the app that links my phone to my laptop.

"you should see KB4049179 available. Will bring the version to 1709 build 16299.19"

Not on my machines.
