windows 10 after anniversary update slow star up

hi, ihave a hp pavillion 13-s154sa and after the windows 10 anniversary update it takes 7 minutes to start up. it' been away to hp support and curry's know how for repair but when comes back they have not done the anniversary update, so when the anniversary update has been dolownloaded again it's back to 7 minutes start up. what can i do to solve this.

You could possibly do a system restore to before the update. The only problem with that is it will update again.

I have had to switch Windows Firewall and windows updates off and stop then from running in services to stop getting the update again.

Unfortunately Microsoft have a cunning plan they can restart your windows updates without your consent and download the update again.

So not got a clue as to how you can stop it from updating it again.

Please describe exactly where its slow?

Black screen at power on for how long?

Hanging at blue squares?

hanging at log in page?

hi it's slow from switching on till login and then it's still runing slow up to wallpaper page then it runs ok, so it's just the start up
