When my win7 toshiba laptop is plugged in it runs ok and has fairly speedy internet connection speeds.when I run it on battery it seems like it drops the connection frequently. is there some kind of power save option that does this?
In control panel under in power options "advanced" you will find settings for wireless adapter. Here you can adjust for best performance or power saving when using battery.I guess this is worth a try.
I looked at that. Its was under power management. It said "allow this computer to turn off this device to save power" and it was already disabled (off). So, its not that.thanks anyway though....
