Hi. I have a full version of Win 7 Home Premium 64bit which I installed on my home built PC. My older DIY PC still has XP on it (I use it mainly for storage). My question: Can I install my Win 7 full version on the old PC and just buy another key?

Yes but be careful where you buy the key from.

Hello Fruit Bat :) good to hear from you again. I suppose the next question is "where from" - Amazon or the like?

Yes from Amazon but you might find driver problems. As its an older PC hardware might be obsolete and drivers hard to come by.

I would try it with the same key first, I know it should not work but.....

.... you will be okay for a while until the big server in the Micromist decides to notice - of course if you don't go on line with after it's activated - well that's another story.
