Win 10 1809 Desktop, i7 4th gen, 16gb RAM.

Got a cumulative update yesterday (KB4495667) & not long after, got BSOD with 'WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR'.

Wouldn't progress past 0% fix after an hour, so turned off machine, restarted, & no BSOD. Same today, all seems well. I managed to uninstall the KB update, machine seems fine.

Just wondering if there's a known issue with that update & if anyone else had problems? Cheers.

'WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR'. occurs when a device driver is incorrect for the current operating system.

Windows updates have a bad tendency to replace manufacturer's drivers with generic windows drivers so I'm guessing a conflict occurred and on the restart windows found the driver missing and then reinstalled it.

Could well be FB, thanks. I'll tick as resolved.
