Win 10 to 7 revert, problems with keyboard/touchpa

Some tips would be greatly appreciated for my situation, and here it is:

  • I have a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows 7.
  • I upgraded to windows 10, and had some issues with it and so i chose to revert back to Windows 7.
  • now my touchpad and keyboard do not work
  • they do work, however, in safe mode at the command prompt
  • I would like to either get my touchpad and keyboard working, OR force the windows 10 upgrade again (because it was at least functional).

So on regular windows boot, at the log in screen I can't access the touchpad, keyboard, or usb ports (which means no external keyboards and mice).

What could be a solution that doesn't involve a complete windows reinstall? And I don't have a windows install disk, nor a recovery disk.

thanks in advance!
