Weird start-up

  The Bard 10:15 04 Feb 2010

I have Windows 7 64 bit. Suddenly, when I boot up, a notepad page pops up with [.ShellClassInfo]
[email protected]%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787 on it. The boot up process will not finish until I delete this.

click start /type shell:startup in the search box and hit enter ,you may have to enable (show hidden files) and (show hidden system files) you can do this via Organize/folder and search options/view, highlight (show hidden files folders and drives) and then also untick (hide protected operating system files).
dont forget to undo these two steps afterwards .
you should see a .INI File with the same words on ,simply delete it and you should be free of the problem .I came across this on another website a little while back ,the auther said it worked fine.
