Virtual Memory

I seem to remember that under XP it was often advised to manually set up your minimum and maximum virtual memory depending on how much RAM you had got. Does anybody know of any views on a similar undertaking with Vista?

The general view is no.

By default the amount of virtual memory or page file as it is known, is set at a min of 1.5 times the size of your phisical RAM.(Max equals 3x the amount)

Unless you have limited hard disc capacity the view is leave it to Windows to automatically set page file.

Use Firefox and download the UK dictionary , it stops spelling mistakes ! ( still rubbish for grammar though )
