Stuck in black screen (safe mode) [windows 10]

Hi, A few days ago I tried to get into safe mode with the “Shift + Restart” method. When I got to “Startup Settings” i clicked on restart and my pc restarted to a black screen and I couldn’t do anything (completely black screen, no cursor, nothing). I restarted again by manually pushing the button and the pc booted normally. Then I opened system configuration and changed boot options to safe mode. When the pc rebooted there was again the same black screen. Now I’m in a situation where, if I’m getting this correctly, my pc tries to boot into safe mode every time I turn it on, and the safe mode doesn’t work for some reason. What should I do?

If you have another PC/Laptop then download Macrium Reflect free . Create the recovery USB or DVD medium. Boot from this to repair Windows 10 boot issue on the messed up PC.

Note , never use msconfig to boot Windows 10 to safe mode. As you've seen - if it messes up then you're going to have major issues.

Noted and thanks for the heads up, rdave13.
