Preventing a programme from opening on start up

Is there anywhere I can view my start up list and make changes to it?

I have Skype on my PC which I hardly ever use but do not want to totally delete it. Can I prevent it from opening up every time I restart my PC?

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1.

Just log into Skype and select Tools > Options > General Settings and untick " Start Skype when I start Windows"

Zak's answer is what I do.

Thank-you for the answers,

I did it the way Zak suggested and it worked but it was also helpful to know how to get into start up menu Jock1e.
