Home Forums Windows Help The PC suddenly can't connect to the internet Forum Rules | Contact Forum Editor | Report a Post The PC suddenly can't connect to the internet Fortino 22:38 11 Sep 2018 Locked Hi, All of a sudden my desktop PC cannot connect to the internet (via the ethernet port, it doesn't have wifi) I tried successfully to connect another PC to the router, so the problem is with the specific PC. when I try "ping 127.0.0.1" I get Ping statistics for 127.0.0.1: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 0ms, Maximum = 0ms, Average = 0ms which means, as far as I know, that the network card is OK! When I try "ipconfig /all" it seems that is doesn't get IP address Ethernet adapter Ethernet: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : D8-50-E6-BD-9B-35 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes I re-install the drivers of the network card but nothing changed.
