Old software compatability issue.

I have used a nice free piece of software called DirectoryOpus6.1. for about 9 years on xp machines.

It's a replacement utility for windows explorer, and came free with a computer magazine in 2002.

Has anybody tried it on W7?

Thanks. Aitch.

Thanks for that, ams4127. I will explore the link.

I was specifically curious as to wether the old 6.1 version of DirectoryOpus was ok for a windows 7 set-up.

ams4127 - I might just do that. (...on sister's new w7 laptop).

I found almost all old progams will run on win 7 use either the Compatabley mode or run as admin
