This was yesterday, it also gave details of the invading computer and reported abnormal outgoing traffic . This morning however there is no mention of it, but Computer took longer than usual to start up. Full scan has revealed nothing. Considering running Power Eraser, but that can be destructive. Please does anyone have any advice. At present pc is disconnected from Internet. Very grateful for any help

You could try downloading the removal tool FixVirut.CF Removal Tool, from here , on to another PC, transfer to usb and run as admin on the infected offline PC. Otherwise I would contact Norton for advice.
