Tearing hair out ok that's a lie i haven't got any, Problem i have is win 10 picking up native resolution as 1600 x 900 when it should be 1920 x 1080. Spec Acer Aspire laptop 7750G I5 processor 4gig ram Radeon 6650M dedicated GFX.

Have tried Acer drivers circa 2012,Win 10 update drivers,AMD Radeon drivers for win 10.On each occasion have used driver sweep to clean detritus before trying new driver but problem still prevails,Hoping some one may have a work round or were heading to roll back to win 7.

many thanks in advance

Can you not right click desktop/display settings?

yes but it only gives me 1600 x 900 as an option it is not detecting true native resolution which is 1920 x 1080

I had the same problem with my HP 24in. I went to HPs site and downloaded the original drivers for my HP monitor, problem solved. I've had quite a lot of bother with the drivers in W10. The manual for your laptop is quoted as 1600x900

still have hard copy of manual that came with laptop says 1920 x 1080 maybe misprint idk. Seems to have settled on 1600 x 900 will contact acer support and see if i can get a definitive answer from them.

Thank you for your replies
