On my laptop a pop up prevents me using Google

I cannot use Google because a pop up appears saying "Before you begin ... To be consistent with protection laws, we're asking you to take a moment to review key points of Google's Privacy Policy etc etc" followed by "NEXT". I'm not gullible enough to click on NEXT, but it means that I cannot use Google. What can I do?

It's a privacy reminder from Google. It's come up in all my browsers on the Google page. You should be able to click on the X top right to close but you will still get the Privacy review icon on the page until you agree. I don't know what would happen if you disagree though.

Thanks rdave13, but there is no X in the top right corner. I don't get a Google page at all.

Go to the search bar and change Google.co.uk to Google.com. That works using Firefox.
