Missing DLL. What to do?

  timothywilliam 20:22 07 Nov 2014

Windows7 : Keep receiving a dialogue box on start up which says "Run DLL. There was a problem starting C:\PROGRA~3\AF24FC96.cpp The specified module could not be found." Can anyone advise me what to do please? Last week I had to delete two Trojans found by Malaware and BTICloud has presented all sorts of issues but whether this is co-incidence I haven't a clue. Thanks.

As you were advised on this forum bt forum Try downloading and run ADWCleaner. See

looks like part of your trojan is still there

download and install CCleaner then Tools - Startup - look for all the things trying to run at start you can disable them if you do not know what they are for.

Then run the registry cleaner in CCleaner its safe.

also install ADWcleaner and give iit a run to see what else is lurking in your system.

Also Open command prompt as administrator and type sfc /scannow in the black window. Let it run and it may cure a missing file.(takes a while to run)
