I have several memory sticks (TDK & PNY)Vista says that I need drivers for them but it cant find them. They can be used on XP no problem.Any Thoughts ?Thanks
Maybe click here click here but my guess is you do not need drivers in Vista.Check PNP is enabled in the bios.
Assume you are talking about usb pen drives, just plug them in
The Sites you sugested were less than helpful. and they are USB memory sticks.Any more ideas?
I havent, mine work with vista without any prompts
I have a couple of sony usb sticks and when first placing them in the usb windows recognises them and says it is loading the driver (vista).
I would be surprised if the drivers are not present in Vista. I have no problems with my memory sticks (2 different brands). When you get the prompt have you tried telling it to search the hard drive and specifically windows/system32?
The only memory sticks i know of are from Sandisk and Sony and i call them memory cards though are actually sticks but so are flash drives called memory sticks.Again you should not need the drivers unless on 98.Do you have a built in card reader or external reader ?
WoolwellVista says its looking but can't find the drivers.
I have found in device mgr.other devicesusb mass storage device has a orange ! when Clicked In properties it says sys 32 UMDFDo I have corrupted drivers ?If so how do I repair. Thanks
