Hi I had this problem before - can anyone please direct me to the folder that fills up with internet jpegs and fills the c drive?

On my computer it can be found buried inside a nest of many folders.

C:\Documents and settings\

your username\

Local settings\

Application Data\

Google\

Chrome\

User Data\

Default\

Cache.

CCleaner is good at clearing this out.

I hope this helps.

Hi thanks for post but these are not the files.I have CCleaner.

Hi Nicky, if you run CCleaner and click on ANALYSE then your 'Internet Cache' will show up on the list. You can then double-click on it to see what's taking up all of your hard disk space, then you can decide what you want to get rid of.

Good luck.

you can use the Disk Cleanup in Windows to delete the files in your c drive. To use Disk Cleanup: press Win+F, and type cleanmgr, open it with administrator, etc. Here, you can use the Disk Cleanup program to cleanup what you want. Such as clean files for only your account, system files, or uninstall desktop programs, or delete all but the most recent restore point. Or you can first back up the system using AOMEI Backupper, and then directly format the drive, finally restore the system.

Actually, the main reason about the low disk problem is that C drive is almost fully occupied by large number of files with very little free space. Page files, previous Windows installation, temporary files, and other system files may have taken up the space of your system partition. Besides, you may have saved too many applications or large files to C drive that you are not aware of. Such as the default download folder is located in C drive. If you meet the problem c drive full, you can empty your C drive by: 1. clean disk. 2. delete hibernate file. 3. uninstall some programs. 4. delete temporary and download files. 5. delete internet temporary files. 6. empty the recycle bin. 7. extend system partition. wish my answer can help you!
