Latest Win10 update won't boot

  martin8756 12:19 02 Jun 2018

My PC did a major update on 28 May. Seemed to be ok the next day, but on the Monday it wouldn't boot - constant spinning blue cursor.

I did a restore to previous version - wasted an hour of my working day, but it worked after that.

Turned my PC on the next day, exactly the same thing, another hour wasted. Left my PC switched on for the rest of the week, I can't afford to spend the first hour each day getting my computer to boot.

Tried rebooting again today, same thing again.

Any ideas for how to get around this?

Open a command or powershell prompt and type

sfc /scannow

let windows scan for and find missing or corrupt windows files and replace them.

If that doesn't solve the problem then may be you nee to do a startup repair.
