Installation and Reinstallation

I am wondering if I can install windows 8 32 bit on my laptop, and once I upgrade the processor in my laptop to a processor with a 64 bit architecture whether I can then reinstall windows 8 but the 64 bit version instead?

I wasn't sure if once I installed windows 8 that I would have used the license and that I would be stuck with the 32-bit version of windows.

Any help would be appreciated.

As I only 'upgraded' to Windows 8 then on my desktop I had the download and key for it only for 64-bit. My laptop was 32-bit and again the download and key is tied to 32-bit. I don't know if it's the same if you buy the full retail Win8. With Win 7 the full retail came with two discs, a 64 and 32-bit versions and you could use the same key to install either or.
