Hard Drives for Software RAID

  BA1385 15:01 08 Jan 2015

Hi there,

I am trying to configure an affordable RAID0 for video editing.

The media is on 10x 2TB USB3 drives (with the backups on 10x 2TB External SATA drives).

I am wondering if it is possible to set up a software RAID using the USB3 drives, via USB3 ports, or if it would be better to purchase SATA expansion cards in order to use the SATA drives instead?

Any thoughts are hugely appreciated. Many thanks...
