Hi, I wondered if someone could advise me. I have been getting a message saying "Windows can't check for updates" so I have not had any updates for about 2 weeks now and I am getting a little concerned I cannot update my laptop. When I click on the icon for updates it has prompted me to turn the pc off and back on again which I have done but still not been able to download any new updates. One of the things I was advised to do was download Windows Microsoft security as this would sort the problem out, so I did this and I still cannot download my updates. I have also clicked on the "Turn Windows features on or off" and it this is saying I need to check or uncheck the boxes but no boxes are showing when I do this!
I have no idea what to do next and I would appreciate some help please, Thank you Carol!

If you go Start, Control Panel, Windows Update, what does that show?
