First thought is give it a good clean out, scrape the cpu and graphics fans, make sure there is no dust between fans and heatsinks.

i've cleaned it about 2 weeks ago and the problem persists

did you clean between fans and heat sinks as its easy to miss the fluff that gets in there you will need to lift the fan off the heat sink.

After that if its only happing while gaming then likely to be graphics card problem

if happens at other time could also be PSU.

it's only when i'm gaming. I have the most recent version of it's driver, but the catalyst control center is a version behind. Does that matter?
