File Search will not locate newly-added files.

I've just upgraded to Windows 10 and, after a period of everything working just fine, the file search function will now NOT locate new items.

If I open a folder and enter a filename into the search box, it will locate all matching files that were not added recently. None of the recently-added files are found - even though I can see them in the folder if I scroll down and look for them.

I've rebuilt the index twice and that works insofar as it will then allow the search to locate every file - but files added after the rebuild will not be found.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for the reply.

Indexing Options are set to index Local Drive (C) and that's where the problem is occurring. I have a folder containing lots of image files on that drive but Search cannot find any of the ones I've added recently even though I can see them in the folder.
