Dual boot W10 with W7 by cloning existing W7

I have a Laptop updated from W8.1 Portuguese to W10 English. My daughter wants me to add W7 home premium from her laptop to a new partition I have created. I am proposing to image her hard drive and tranfer to the partition. She has too many programs etc to do an install. How can I adjust the boot to get at the new partition

I'm concerned that by imaging her hard drive to a new partition, even if you get the booting sorted out using the method shown here, your image will have the drivers from your daughter's old machine which may not be compatible with your hardware.
