Disable secure boot on windows 8?

  JAFA 10:23 06 Jul 2014

Hi, I am trying to install Kubuntu 14.04 on a newish HP Pavilion "envy" laptop and it keeps refusing to boot from the USB stick. I have been told to disable secure boot via starup and "firmware management" but I cannot find a "disable secure boot" option anywhere. Is it even possible to do this?

"Don't worry, Windows Boot Genius can help you............"

No, your crappy $55 program won't be any help at all. Rdave has given the solution on how to disable Secure Boot.
