default Sounds on Windows PC

I have acquired a laptop which has different sound settings to my old laptop. When changing the volume I would like the "windows ding" however I only get three options. "no sound" "no sound (modified)" and "windows default" which is this odd ringing sound can this be changed to the "windows ding" and if so how?

If you right click the sound icon in the notification are and select 'sounds' then in the opened window select Windows Default then scroll down to Default Beep. The sound to select is 'Windows Background.wav'.
